Minor Threat
1982-10-01 @ Colony Ballroom, Second Floor, Adele H. Stamp Student Union, University of Maryland, College Park, MD
At this show, the microphone stand broke, and ended up hitting John Stabb (from GI) in the face. He had to go to the hospital, and Ian paid for half the bill (Banned in DC, p. 88).
Identification
Before the first song, Ian thanks "Maryland University" for giving the band their "one Coke each." After the band plays one song, Ian jokingly says that the next band, Velvet Monkeys, are up next. The only show at University of Maryland, with the Velvet Monkeys, is October 1, 1982, according to "Banned in DC," pp. 88, 176.
